Residents urge trustees to weigh school funding impacts as referendum approaches

Vaughn also raised concerns about low-income families’ ability to participate in presentations and urged broader outreach.
Board members indicated the presentation was recorded and the PowerPoint/PDF could be posted online alongside the video; staff said the village would aim to post the school presentation materials and the video for public access. Trustees did not take any formal action on school funding at the meeting; they noted additional discussion may occur at upcoming meetings related to the property tax levy.
