Board meets new administrators joining district leadership

The board welcomed new and reassigned administrators: Dr. Carrie Crisamalas (director of constructivist learning), Jessica Torrey and Timothy Coughlin ( Berkeley Street and David E. Owens leadership roles), Nicola Perna (assistant principal), and Heather McAllen (supervisor of special services).
Board members introduced a group of new or newly reassigned administrators and the superintendent invited them to the meeting to be known to the board. Dr. Carrie Crisamalas, previously principal of Berkeley Street Elementary School, described her new role as director of constructivist learning and said it was "really such an honor to be serving in this role." She will present to the full board about constructivism in October.
The board also welcomed Jessica Torrey (new principal at Berkeley Street School) and Timothy Coughlin (new principal at David E. Owens Middle School), as well as Nicola Perna, introduced as a new assistant principal at the middle school, and Heather McAllen in a repositioned supervisor role for special services and preschool programming.
Board members expressed appreciation and noted plans to have the administrators present program work and updates at future board meetings.
