Trustees discussed dates and participation constraints and agreed to aim for presentations in mid‑November, with a special meeting for presentations and final action slated for later in the month.
The superintendent and CFO emphasized the need for firms with education-law expertise — particularly student services/special education, labor and employment, and technology/contracts — because of district workload. Board members asked that all trustees have an opportunity to provide input on the rubric and that the selection process remain public at the presentation stage.
No firm was selected at the meeting; the board set deadlines for rubric completion and reference checks and asked administration to coordinate the public presentation schedule.
