Commissioners asked whether the work covered sidewalks or driveways; staff clarified the contract covers sidewalks and related front-of-building concrete repairs. The motion to approve P24‑27 passed with affirmative votes recorded.
The board also approved F24‑28, a Smart Technologies contract phase to replace fiber wiring and network switches in county buildings downtown, and F24‑29, a lease add‑on to provide phone service at the Broadway Building. Mister Deluri, a county staff member, described the IT work as “another great phase of this big project to be able to modernize all of our infrastructure and technology.” Commissioners asked whether the contracts used language previously reviewed by the state attorney’s office; staff said the language matches previously approved contracts.
On finances, the board approved amendments to reflect interest recognition timing for fiscal 2025, with staff noting a revised interest amount of $107,318 in the meeting packet. Motions to amend and adopt the revised figures were approved.
The board also moved the regular county delinquent tax sale resolution and approved it without recorded opposition.
What’s next: Most items were routine and passed on voice votes. The board recessed further bills and noted an upcoming tentative budget date; no additional hearings were scheduled at the end of the meeting.
