The commission approved transferring $926,000 from permanent salaries to overtime funds; Deputy Chief Schmidt said the move would allow continued security measures without seeking additional general-fund support because these are non-general-fund airport monies. The motion to advance the items to the Board of Supervisors (Transbay accept-and-expend) and to accept the airport reallocation passed after public comment and brief discussion.
