The Board of Public Works approved July 18 an amendment to an Aurora ESG street outreach and coordinated entry contract, extending the completion date through June 30, 2024, and increasing the contract by $16,000.
A city representative said Aurora received its usual ESG allocation and later received additional ESG-CV funds with higher priority to be spent first; as a result, Aurora requested additional time to spend down its regular ESG allocation. Staff confirmed the June 30, 2024 date was correct and said the amendment is limited to allowing claims through that date.
Board members moved, seconded and approved the amendment by voice vote. Staff indicated they do not need a further extension beyond June 30.
Next steps: Aurora will submit claims through the extended completion date and staff will monitor expenditure.
