Evansville board approves one-year extension with Syn Energy Partners LLC

"It's just extending it for an additional year and it was signed last week during the Board of Public Works," a city representative said. The motion to approve the extension was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote ('Aye').
The extension was described as the second extension to the original contract. No amendments to compensation, scope, or deliverables were presented during the meeting; staff said the document is the same agreement being carried forward. Board members did not raise substantive questions at the meeting.
Next steps: the extension takes effect as approved and will remain in force per the extended term; any subsequent changes or subcontracts would require further formal approval if presented to the board.
