East Dundee unveils four‑phase village hall and police parking plan, eyes TIF funding for 2025

Staff recommended TIF funding to cover the work so it would not draw on the village’s capital budget and suggested spring construction if pricing and bids allow. Trustees asked for pricing options and additional detail on tree mitigation and ADA placement before final approval.
Next steps: staff will obtain cost proposals for multiple surfacing and design options, refine phasing and budgeting for the 2025 budget, and return with pricing and a more detailed plan for board approval.
