Mister Lemming moved to create the Department of Communications (account 1000-03-03) and place $250,000 for contractual services, $15,000 for telephone and $2,000 for promotional items into that account. The motion was seconded and carried by the council. The council also adjusted the 1222 budget to remove the moved amounts and approved the remaining categories.
Council staff will update the chart of accounts and reclassify the referenced line items per the motion.
