Commissioners set public hearings on two annexations, a street-name change and a right-of-way abandonment; claims and consent agenda approved

The board set a public hearing for Dec. 17, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 3108 on Resolution of Intent 24-154 to annex property at 3200 Sage View Road into the Lockwood Rural Fire District. The board also set a Dec. 17 hearing for Resolution of Intent 24-155 to annex property at 3520 Sage Hill Road into the same fire district. Motions to schedule both hearings were made and seconded and passed by voice vote.
The board approved Resolution 24-153 of intent to change Shinnecock Place and Shinnecock Circle to Sheffler Way in the 9 Subdivision and scheduled a public hearing for Dec. 3, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 31. Separately, the board approved Resolution of Intent 24-150 to set a public hearing on the board of viewers report on abandoning a portion of Bone Avenue in Lockwood; that hearing was also set for Dec. 3 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 3108.
On financial items, the board approved claims numbered 25-056 through 25-060 after a motion and second, and later approved the consent agenda and to place listed items on file.
