He emphasized that camper counts and rodeo events generate significant revenue for fair operations and that the group seeks prudent capital investments that support safety and revenue generation.
The board did not take a funding vote at the session but directed staff to include the fair’s requests with other departmental asks during the next budget reconciliation.
