The board approved the lane name on a voice vote after a motion by Commissioner Garner and a second from Commissioner Edwards. Earlier in the meeting the clerk requested adding a Duplin County 4‑H prevention program contract to the consent agenda; that amendment was moved by Commissioner Garner and seconded by Commissioner Edwards and approved by voice vote.
