Fairview planning commission sets Oct. 16 joint meeting with council; staff announces new permit technician and e‑permitting launch

During the Sept. 10 meeting, staff reviewed the tentative calendar and asked the commission to skip the Sept. 24 meeting due to lack of agenda items, and to reserve Oct. 16 for a joint Planning Commission–City Council work session that will include CFEC and the Village Mixed Use code amendments. Staff said Evan Manville of the Department of Land Conservation and Development will attend the Oct. 16 session to answer technical questions.
Planning staff also announced a new permit technician, Chloe, who started in the department, and said the city will go live with a new e‑permitting system (Estella) in November to streamline permitting and inspection workflows.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that was made, seconded, and carried by voice vote.
