Commissioners open RFQs, set two July hearings and approve claims and consent items

At its June 19 meeting the Yellowstone County Board opened multiple RFQ proposals and referred them to staff for recommendation, set July 9 public hearings on Rosebud Lane abandonment and the intent to dissolve the Yellowstone County Parks Board, approved claims and the modified consent agenda.
The Yellowstone County Board of County Commissioners opened and acknowledged several owner-construction and mechanical engineering RFQ proposals on June 19 and referred those proposals to staff for review and recommendation. Named proposers included Haltoning CCM, KLJ, Dowell, Connor Engineering, Cushing Carroll and Salas O’Brien.
Under public works, the board set Resolution 24-103 to hold a public hearing on the proposed abandonment of a portion of Rosebud Lane on Tuesday, July 9 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 3108. The board also approved Resolution 24-105 of intent to dissolve the Yellowstone County Parks Board and set a public hearing on that intent for July 9 at 9:30 a.m.
Commissioners approved claims numbered 24-171 through 24-176 by voice vote and approved the modified consent agenda and filing of items presented to the board.
No additional substantive action was taken on the Charles Russell Park public hearing after the board denied the sale; staff will not proceed with appraisal or bidding related to that item.
