County adopts FY24-25 budget, approves amendments to FY24 grant and regular budgets

The Board of County Commissioners voted to adopt the fiscal year 2024–25 budget and set special district levies under Resolution 24-59, and later approved Resolution 24-123 to amend the FY24 regular budget and FY24–25 grant budgets for federal and state grants.
Commissioner Morris moved to approve Resolution 24-59 after staff confirmed the hearing had been properly noticed and the budget made available to the public; the motion was seconded and passed with ayes recorded. No members of the public spoke during the hearing. County staff (Jen) stated the item was noticed and available for review.
The board then opened a separate public hearing on Resolution 24-123, which would amend the FY24 regular budget and adjust grant budgets for FY24 and FY25 related to federal and state grants. Again, no members of the public spoke. Commissioner Morris moved approval; the motion was seconded and the board voted to adopt the amendment.
