Brown Junior Way closures on Oct. 26), a Laney Wilson concert overflow event for Tiki on Main (Main Street between Fifth and Sixth on Nov. 2), Jacobsville Area Corporation’s trunk-or-treat (North Main between Virginia and Iowa on Oct. 26), and a Hottie Shrine procession on Nov. 2 to be escorted by Evansville police. The record notes requested barricades, times and specific street segments for each event.
The board also approved multiple road-closure and parking‑reservation requests tied to construction and events: temporary sidewalk restriction at 215 Main Street for an awning demolition (Oct. 28–29), parking closures at 715 Locust Street for food‑truck parking on Oct. 26, and multi-day ADA parking reservations at the Old National Events Plaza for an event on Nov. 18–20. A request related to the Indiana Latino Summit was noted for school-bus pickup/drop-off at 715 Locust by city staff.
One parking-permit item was tabled to the next meeting because no applicant was present. Y Factor Studio received approval for two vehicles to install Christmas decorations on Main Street Oct. 28–Nov. 1.
The board approved each permit by voice vote; staff will coordinate barricades and logistics with event organizers and public-works crews.
