Zion council approves four retail liquor licenses, including a new banquet hall and lounge

The Zion City Council approved several liquor-license actions during its Aug. 6 meeting.
Licenses approved included a class A-1 retail liquor license for Polo Moyo Bocano Inc., located at 3467 Sherwood Road (75 seats; no gaming); a class A-3 license for "DVA Zogo Sports Grill" at 2325 Sheridan Road reflecting new ownership while existing gaming on the premises remains unchanged; a class F retail liquor license for Infinity Venue LLC at 3363 Sheridan Road for a banquet hall without gaming (Councilmember noted the applicant, Omar Cruz, was present); and a class B-1 license for 2723 Sheridan Road LLC (Inn at Sheridan) for a hotel lounge restricted to hotel guests.
The Liquor Commission recommended approval on each item, councilmembers moved and seconded the motions, and all four license actions passed on roll-call votes with all present voting aye.
