Commissioners approve minutes, claims and consent agenda

The Board of County Commissioners opened routine business at its July 2 meeting by approving previous meeting minutes and several routine financial and administrative items.
The Chairman moved to approve the minutes from June 19 and June 25, 2024, a motion that was seconded and approved by voice vote. Later, a commissioner moved to approve claims numbered 24-179, 24-180, 24-181 and 25-001; that motion was seconded and the board approved the claims. The board then voted to approve the consent agenda and to place associated file items to file.
When asked for public comment on county business, the board received none. The meeting closed the business portion with brief acknowledgments to attendees.
