The report closed with an announcement that local Fisherman's Wharf fixture Frank Alioto had died on Oct. 2. The Commission was given memorial details: a mass on Oct. 11 at St. Peter and Paul's Church at 666 Filbert Street at 10:30 a.m.; the family requested donations to hospice in lieu of flowers. The executive director asked that the Commission adjourn in his honor.
