Commissioners approve minutes, claims and consent agenda; MDU contract shortened to three years

Unidentified Commissioner (S3) moved to approve the minutes; after a second, members answered "aye" and the chair announced the minutes approved. Later, Unidentified Commissioner (S4) moved to approve claims (specific claim numbers read into the record); the motion carried after members answered "aye." The board also moved and approved the consent agenda.
During discussion of the consent agenda, Commissioner S4 asked whether the MDU contract had been revised in length. Unidentified Speaker (S2) said county staff (James) had revised the contract down to three years to avoid issues with length and renewals.
No further public comment was recorded and the board adjourned.
