Galloway board approves superintendent contract and routine consent items; two abstentions on contract vote

The Galloway Township Public School District Board of Education approved several consent packages and personnel actions at its Sept. 8 meeting, including the superintendent's contract after a statutorily required public hearing.
Board counsel opened a public hearing on the superintendent's contract as required by law; no members of the public asked questions during the hearing. The board then moved to approve item 9.2 (the superintendent contract).
