Timing and next steps: Cedric said early selections and early appointments will begin in November–December, with the bulk of appointments scheduled for January–February. He emphasized staff will refine the data to improve appointment decisions and determine who may be placed on wait lists.
Board members asked for data to illuminate the "enrollment cliff" referenced at previous meetings; the superintendent agreed to prepare estimates and to provide segment-specific views (for example, service academies and senior military colleges) to help the board understand the projected impact.
