Citizens Advisory Committee leadership changes; commissioners praise outgoing chair

Amy Zock, the newly elected CAC chair, said she was appointed originally by Supervisor Tang, recently reappointed by Supervisor Aaron Peskin and plans to focus on building public support for infrastructure investments, grants, incentives and climate-change issues. Commissioners and the general manager thanked Aragon for four years of leadership and urged a formal recognition; staff noted that a written acknowledgment or resolution would be prepared.
Multiple commissioners and staff praised the CAC's role in advancing difficult issues, including Clean Power SF and groundwater work, and highlighted CAC involvement in the Southeast Community Facility planning effort. The commission reserved a recognition for Aragon and encouraged continued CAC engagement.
