Madison County supervisors approve several routine resolutions, set FY2025 budget hearing

Key actions approved by voice vote included: the third and final reading of a civil ordinance moratorium (motion by Heather, second by Diane), a resolution authorizing Otter’s office to administer longevity pay automatically, a supervisor resolution requiring mandatory retaliation and harassment training for staff in specified departments, and appointments to the county compensation board. The board also set a public hearing for the FY2025 budget amendment on September 24 and approved a supervisor resolution related to the community development block grant Jeremy presented earlier.
Other routine business approved included a resolution to decommission surplus items from county storage, approval of two temporary liquor and wine licenses, and the treasurer’s appointment of Aaron Stanton as a universal deputy. Several of these matters were moved by Diane and seconded by Heather and passed by voice votes recorded in the transcript.
