Utah County commissioners open and close public hearing on Timpanogos district reorganization, approve consent agenda

Utah County commissioners opened a public hearing on a proposed reorganization of the "Timpanogos Special Sift Service District," received no public comment, approved the consent agenda by voice vote and adjourned the meeting.

The meeting began with an invocation by Jolene Clegg, who closed the prayer "in the name of Jesus Christ," and a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance led by Eileen Conder. The first formal item was a public hearing on the proposed reorganization of the Timpanogos Special Sift Service District. A motion to open the hearing was made and approved by voice vote.

The presiding official solicited public comment on the hearing item and, seeing none, a subsequent motion to close the hearing was made and approved by voice vote. The commission then considered its consent agenda. No items were held for separate discussion; a motion to accept the consent agenda was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.

During the general public comment period the presiding official noted that no members of the public wished to speak. The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn was made and approved by voice vote.
