The Columbia Gateway Urban Renewal Agency approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from its Aug. 20, 2024 meeting by voice vote early in the Sept. 17 session.
In staff updates, agency staff said the RFEI for the Tony's Building was posted to the Daily Journal of Commerce and the city website and that they had received immediate interest, including inquiries from larger Portland- and Seattle-area firms. Staff said they are averaging one to two inquiries per day.
Staff also outlined community outreach events: a virtual open house for the city's housing-production strategy (with an online survey due Oct. 4) and a downtown parking open house scheduled for Sept. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. Staff encouraged board members and residents to participate and to share the survey link.
Chair Long adjourned the meeting at the end of the session.
