Board rescinds stage 1 fire restrictions; tables fire-notification contract renewal

Later in the consent portion of the meeting, staff identified consent agenda item No. 4—an emergency/general services contract renewal for the county's fire-notification system—for additional contractual modifications. The board moved to table that consent item so the contracting parties could refine language; the motion to table carried. After tabling No. 4, the board approved an amended consent agenda covering the remaining consent and file items and approved a motion to process claims as listed.
