The commission authorized staff to award construction contract no. 2752 (Pier 35 North Apron repair) to Huey Construction Management Inc., d/b/a MH Construction Management Company, in an amount not to exceed $786,000 and to allow a 10% contingency or contract increase of $78,600 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $864,600. The commission also authorized staff to apply for, accept, and administer a $5,000,000 grant from the State of California Prop 84 Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program for the Northeast Wharf Plaza open space on Pier 27 along the Embarcadero. The ports annual contracting activity report for fiscal year 201011 (July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011) was accepted.
A motion to approve the consent calendar was made, seconded, and approved by voice vote.
