At its Nov. 13 meeting Community Consolidated School District 59's board approved multiple action items by roll call votes.
The board approved the consent agenda (items 6.01–6.07) by a voice/roll-call motion. Trustees then adopted ISBE policy press updates (item 8.01) and approved an intergovernmental agreement with District 214 (item 8.02) to formalize data-sharing and alignment activities; board discussion noted the agreement includes safeguards and will support instructional alignment.
The board also accepted donations: Operation Warm Inc. presented new winter coats to John Jay Elementary with an estimated value of $9,900 (item 8.03), and the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago donated $1,900 to Claremont Elementary to support an art contest and a performing group. All votes recorded unanimous approval.
No controversial amendments were recorded during these votes; procedural roll calls were made for each approval.
