Staff said they will share the new numbers with county budget hearings so commissioners have the information in advance.
Commissioners responded that the updated breakdown may be useful for county and city budget discussions; one commissioner noted a separate set of figures that previously emphasized a larger city share and said the newly presented numbers would be helpful to county council members.
Staff described ordinance work as among the most time-intensive items (citing the sign ordinance as an example that took several months), but reiterated that the presented percentages were straightforward counts and did not weight for time spent on different item types.
