Talent council approves consent items and adopts CDBG authorization; accepts June 2024 financial statement

On Sept. 18 the council approved the consent calendar (items 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6), approved the June 2024 financial statement (item 8.1), and adopted Resolution 2024-099-R authorizing the city manager to sign the CDBG application for acquisition of 49 Talent Avenue; the CDBG resolution passed on roll call.
At its Sept. 18 meeting the Talent City Council approved several routine items and authorized staff to proceed with a grant application for a proposed community resource center.
Consent calendar: Councilor Parra Miller moved to approve the consent calendar items 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6; the motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote.
