Amber also raised a separate concern: the online resource Teachers Pay Teachers was temporarily unavailable due to malware, which some staff said disrupted lesson‑preparation workflows.
Board members acknowledged the concerns and said the matter will be addressed as part of ongoing conversations with staff and during contract negotiations. Several board members urged administrators to provide clearer guidance and to consider whether time for planning should be built into the workday or otherwise compensated. No formal action was taken at the meeting; teachers asked the board to respect contractual hours and to provide detail on any new template requirements before implementation.
