Staff read bids from Schroeder Contracting (Billings) at $386,200 with an abatement item of $19,500; Spray Systems Environmental (Tempe, Ariz.) at $1,018,004.50 with an alternate of $9,150; Environmental Contractors LLC (Billings) with a bid recorded as $361,009.50 in one line and $361,950 in another line (the transcript contains a discrepancy that staff should confirm); and Safetec Inc. (Billings) at $355,211 with alternate bid #1 at $19,100. Staff confirmed bid bonds where required.
Commissioner (speaker 2) moved to refer the bids to staff for recommendation; the motion was seconded and approved on a voice vote. No contract awards were made at the meeting.
