One commissioner said they did not have enough information to make an informed vote and abstained. After the body suspended rules to allow a vote, a motion to approve the interlocal agreement was moved, seconded and recorded as passing.
The motion on the record was succinct: "Then I'll make a motion to approve item number 6," and another commissioner seconded by suspending rules to proceed. The abstaining commissioner said, "I don't feel I have enough info on that one... I'm just not enough to vote," and added that Eagle Mountain had unanimously approved the measure locally.
