Board approves consent items, donations, staffing changes, wage adjustment and MSHSL membership

A donations resolution accepted contributions including $500 from Partners Foundation of Minnesota for BPA nationals travel, $300 from Stewartville New Lions for BPA nationals, $200 from Joyce and Larry Stacy to support the varsity letter community service program, and $600 from Stewartville American Legion to community education; the resolution was approved by roll-call 7-0.
The board approved administrative recommendations to discontinue certain positions to align budgets approved in April; staff said some reductions will occur through attrition and others via teachers-on-call positions. The motion was approved 7-0.
Later business included a wage adjustment for Brianna, a TigerTemp staff member who had been inadvertently left off a returning staff list; the board unanimously approved her wage adjustment. The board also approved the annual Minnesota State High School League membership resolution by roll call 7-0.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 7:54 p.m.
