Commissioners approve routine resolutions, contract awards and bills lists; capital budget amendment adopted

The Sussex County Board of County Commissioners on June 25 adopted a slate of routine resolutions and procurement items and approved the county's bills lists.
A motion to adopt resolutions a through m passed on roll call. The board then adopted contract awards/change orders (resolutions a–h) after discussion and roll‑call votes. Commissioners then approved Bills List A and Bills List B for payment; Deputy Director Joe Space recorded an abstention on Bills List B during the roll call.
The board also adopted resolution C to amend the 2025 capital budget. Separately, the board moved to introduce Ordinance 25‑05 (capital improvements) on first reading and schedule a July 23 public hearing; that ordinance will return for a final vote after the hearing.
