BVSD board votes to convene executive session on pending litigation

At the close of its Sept. 9 meeting the Boulder Valley School District board voted to convene into executive session. Board member Jorge Chavez moved under Colorado statute CRS 24‑6‑402(4)(b) for attorneys to brief the board on pending litigation involving teacher dismissal, civil rights claims, property damage and insurance matters; the motion was seconded by Kitty and passed by roll call.
The board indicated it would convene in the Glacier Room for the closed session and that public business items were adjourned for the evening.
