Owner Mike Finnegan told the board King Jug is a family‑friendly restaurant that employs about 50 local workers and has made changes to reduce noise, including limiting live entertainment to acoustic acts. Finnegan said the outdoor area supports summer revenue and that losing it would force staffing cuts.
