Metuchen, N.J. — District presenters told the Metuchen Board of Education on Aug. 12 that students at Metuchen High School substantially outperformed state averages on the March 2025 New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA).
"The NJGPA is a graduation ready measurement that I must use to support and confirm my statement at graduation," said Mr. Prosky during the board presentation, noting that the high school posted a 96.9% graduation-ready rate in ELA compared with the statewide rate of 80.7%.
