At the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District meeting, the superintendent and Director of Finance Kyle Hunt presented the district's FY25 fiscal results, saying the district ended the year "in the black." The superintendent reported an ending balance in fund 2000 of $5,000,000 and a transfer of nearly $1,400,000 to the building fund, which the presentation put at a little over $9,400,000. Partnership funding for the past year was reported as a little over $1,600,000; the total cash balance was reported as $16,400,000.
Superintendent remarks recognized Kyle Hunt and other administrators for fiscal stewardship and staffing strategies. No budget amendments or votes were taken at the meeting; the report was informational and included in board members' packets. Board members did not move to change any of the figures at the meeting; scheduling and other administrative items followed.
The board will receive the FY25 report in its packet; officials said they would continue to monitor transfers and partnerships as the new fiscal year begins.
