Jenks commission delays major PUD amendment, says amenities and HOA details still needed

Staff planner Ms. Hilton summarized the PUD’s phased history — identifying a top piece (Crossvine) that became a private gated neighborhood, a middle piece (Glenwood Ridge) and a bottom hard‑corner piece whose intended use remained unclear in earlier approvals. "This item was previously approved, and we have come back to you for a major amendment," she said, and recommended continuing the item so the commission could review a complete amenities package and HOA/connectivity plans before making changes.
A commissioner moved to continue the item to the next meeting; another commissioner seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The commission recorded the next meeting date on the record as Oct. 9, 2025.
Ms. Hilton noted that the amenities package had been requested when the Glenwood Ridge plat came through but had not yet been submitted by the applicant; she said she had spoken with Mr. McGuire (applicant representative) who had hired someone to prepare the materials. Commissioners emphasized consistent expectations for amenities and connectivity, citing recent practice and council preferences.
The continuance preserves the existing PUD approvals while staff and the applicant provide the missing documentation for commission review.
