CCB praises staff on IT recovery, temporarily accepts in‑person payments and readies Nevada cannabis item‑metrics catalog

Chair Guzman Fralick and Director Helm used the Sept. 18 meeting to recognize CCB staff and IT personnel for their work responding to recent statewide IT outages. Director Helm said the CCB cannot accept electronic payments at present but has temporarily accepted agent‑card and industry fees in person and by mail, allowing more than 215 agent‑card payments to be processed during the interim.
The director said regulatory‑workshop planning that had been scheduled to begin in October is likely delayed about a month and will now probably start in November. He also announced the upcoming Oct. 6 launch of the Nevada cannabis metric item catalog, an online database intended to provide item information, product locations and lab results to industry and the public. The board said it will provide additional information and outreach materials to industry and media ahead of the launch.
Board members thanked staff and encouraged licensees to consult the CCB website for accepted payment options while e‑payments remain unavailable.
