During unfinished business on enrollment projections for the 2025–26 school year, Speaker 3 told the board the district is currently up 35 students compared with where enrollment ended last year.
Speaker 3 cautioned that August is a transitional month and families continue to make choices; the staff recommended waiting until after the first week of school to produce a more accurate enrollment count because some students may move or records may not yet be transferred.
The board acknowledged the increase as “good news” but agreed the district should treat the figure as preliminary until post‑start reconciliation of records and attendance.
