The Guam Environmental Protection Agency board of directors on March 20 confirmed Glenn Snickis as the agency’s acting deputy administrator, a motion introduced and approved by voice vote.
Chair and other board members said Michelle Vasimosa, the agency administrator, requested Glenn be her "number 2." Glenn introduced himself to the board, saying he would report the administrative updates for the administrator while she is off island. "My name is Glenn Snickis. I am the acting deputy for Guam EPA, and I'll be reporting the administrative reports for our Guam EPA administrator," he said.
After the confirmation, board members congratulated Glenn and he led the meeting’s administrative briefing, which covered staffing counts, recruitment activity, pending headquarters negotiations, lab-design bidders and several regional partnerships. The board then approved minor corrections to previous meeting minutes and moved into agenda business.
There was no roll-call tally published in the record beyond a recorded voice vote of "Aye." The board scheduled follow-up items and asked staff to return with additional administrative details at future meetings.
