He said the division plans to expand basic‑needs services and will launch a campus‑wide well‑being effort called the "people's well‑being" to support students' social, physical and mental health.
Clemons said the division will work more closely with academic affairs and that he and Provost Cordova will co‑launch a Reimagine Student Success task force next week to align academic and student affairs initiatives. Clemons said these efforts aim to improve student outcomes by coordinating support inside and outside the classroom. The committee received the report as information; no motions or votes were taken on the strategic plan.
