Assistant Principal Kevin Hubbard presented Jonathan Reyna of Vista Grande High School, citing a 3.8 GPA and athletic honors in baseball. PACE staff named Bridal/Braden Reynolds as PACE Student of the Month for leadership in technology and extracurricular work.
Career and technical education (CTE) recognitions included a technical‑theater honoree, Ileana/Elena Fisher, and marketing students Hope Marie Porter (Vista Grande) and Amaya Fisher (Union), the latter preparing a DECA state campaign. The board also named Genevieve “Gypsy” Davis (security staff) and Wendy Spencer (link‑crew leader and English teacher) as employees of the month, with presenters noting their cross‑site support and positive impact on students.
During public comment, Tony Mosley, identifying himself as a youth mentor, said the district’s students are “not at risk. They are at potential,” and praised staff interactions he observed at PACE.
