The board approved a revision to the certified specialist salary schedule so the newly hired achievement coach (who will support special education across the district) will start at step 3 of column K to reflect experience. Trustees discussed the need to finalize the contract now that the position is filled.
The board also approved revising a substitute custodian position from 0.5 FTE to 0.73 FTE (approximately 29 hours per week) to allow the employee to learn multiple sites and be available for evening coverage. All motions recorded unanimous approval among the board members present.
