Board approves two budget amendments totaling roughly $82,931 for CTE and federal programs

Jason Nicks presented a general purpose school fund budget amendment (labeled 141) for $32,931.10. Nicks said the amount represents reimbursements received in June 2025 for dual-enrollment CTE classes taught at TCAT and TCAT Pulaski; he recommended reappropriating the funds from fund balance into the current fiscal year. The board moved and approved the amendment by voice vote.
Nicks also presented a school federal programs fund amendment (labeled 142) for $50,000 to set up an approved e-plan for the CTE Perkins reserve budget. The board moved and approved that amendment by voice vote as well.
Nicks noted the district will present revamped health insurance plan options for 2025-26 at the September meeting after further discussion with benefits staff.
The meeting record does not list dissenting votes on these amendments; the chair called for and received verbal "ayes."
