Erie superintendent says transition team recommends Panorama Education for district data integration

Superintendent Natalie Gibbs said the district’s transition team, after several review meetings and reference checks, unanimously recommended Panorama Education as the district’s data integration vendor and recommended beginning contract negotiations.
"The committee unanimously recommends Panorama Education," Gibbs said, explaining the platform was chosen for its ability to integrate academics, behavior and social and emotional learning.
Gibbs told the board staff will "begin contract negotiations with Panorama Education" and said the goal is to finalize negotiations and place the contract on next week’s agenda. Board members indicated no objections when the chair asked if the district should proceed with developing the contract.
Board members praised the selection process and noted the system should provide consistent playbooks and tools for building-level staff to respond to data signals. One member said the platform will professionalize what had until now been a patchwork of local tools and playbooks.
Gibbs said the contract will be reviewed by legal and procurement staff before being posted to the board agenda. No formal vote occurred at the meeting; the discussion concluded with board consensus to move forward to contract development.
