Tuttle council approves multiple contracts, accepts road grant and tables police records software

Staff said the Tyler fee was not included in the earlier ESO presentation because ESO and Tyler had not coordinated when the earlier proposal was presented; a staff presenter apologized and explained Tyler will ensure the CAD connection and ongoing updates. "I did not understand there was gonna be a cost from Tyler," a staff member said during the discussion.
The council also approved a new janitorial contract with Citywide Facility Solutions for city hall and police department buildings at a monthly cost of $1,009.38; council heard multiple complaints about the incumbent contractor’s failure to clean restrooms and floors. The council approved an agreement with ADG Blatt (Tony Blatt) for architectural and engineering services for a proposed fire station at North Sarah and Highway 37, with basic services priced at $30,600 and additional services by hourly rate if needed.
Grants: Staff reported the city was approved for grant funding through the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s municipal road drilling activity fund (MRDAF) related to a one-mile section of East Tyler Drive between North Frisco and North Cemetery. Staff said the city is eligible for the available grant amount and that the local match was already budgeted; council authorized resolution 2025-02 and the project agreement and staff will submit documentation to ODOT to proceed.
Tabled item: Council tabled consideration of a $75,036 records-management software purchase for the police department to the next meeting while staff follows up on cloud costs and grant coordination.
